Ingredients

  • 225 g (1/2 lb) yellow beans (soy beans) or fresh peas
  • 50-75 g (2-3 oz) leg of pork
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) lard (use oil if not available)
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
  • 37 ml (2 1/2 tablespoons) soy sauce
  • 250 ml (1/2 pint) stock
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) coarsely chopped spring onion

Serve 6-8
