Chinese Recipes - Soy-Braised Fish Recipe

Ingredients
- 900 g (2 lb) fish (or piece of fish)
- 4 ml (3/4 teaspoon) salt
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour
- 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) sesame oil
- 3-4 stalks spring onion
- 3-4 slices root ginger
- 125 ml (1/4 pint) oil for shallow frying
Sauce:
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) soy sauce
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
- 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) salt
- 90 ml (6 tablespoons) stock
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) sherry
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) sugar
Serve 6-8
