Ingredients

  • 550 g (1 1/4 lb) fish fillets
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 slices root ginger
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) dry sherry
  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) salt
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) flour
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour
  • 1 egg
  • 75-90 ml (5-6 tablespoons) sesame seeds
  • vegetable oil for deep or semi-deep frying

Serve 6-8
