Chinese Recipes - Sweet and Sour Yellow River Carp Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 carp (about 900 g/2 lb)
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) salt
- 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) plain flour
- 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) corn flour
Sauce:
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) sugar
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) vinegar
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Chinese yellow wine or sherry
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) water
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour blended with 45 ml (3 tablespoons) water
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) lard (use oil if not available)
serve 6
