Chinese Recipes - Pork and Rani Roll with Heart of Chicken Liver Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 thin sheet of fat pork (about 275 g/10 oz)
  • 1 thin sheet of lean pork (slightly smaller)
  • 75 g (3 oz) chicken liver
  • 2 eggs
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour
  • 3 stalks spring onion
  • 1 thin slice of ham (same dimensions as lean pork)

Marinade for Fat Pork:

  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) salt
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) sherry
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) sugar

Marinade for Lean Pork:

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) sherry
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) sugar

    Serve 6-8
