Chinese Recipes - Sweet and Sour Pork Recipe

Ingredients
- 450g/1 lb belly pork (without skin)
- 7ml/1/2 tbsp salt
- 45ml/3 tbsp corn flour
- 1 egg
- 50-75g/2-3 oz bamboo shoots
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 medium onion
- Sauce:
- 30ml/2 tbsp sugar
- 15ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
- 30ml/2 tbsp tomato sauce or puree
- 45ml/3 tbsp vinegar
- 22ml/1 1/2 tbsp corn flour (blended in 90ml/6 tbsp water)
- 30ml/2 tbsp sherry
- oil for deep or shallow frying
Serve 6-8
