Chinese Recipes – Steamed Pork in Soy Cheese Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 900 g (2 lb) belly of pork
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) red soy cheese
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
- 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) sugar
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) red rice (or 6 large lettuce leaves 1/2 drop cochineal blended in 30 ml/2 tablespoons water)
- 2 medium onions
- 4 slices root ginger
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) dry sherry
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) vegetable oil
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
Serve 6-8
