Chinese Recipes – Sliced Pork Fu Yung Recipe

Ingredients

  • 350 g (3/4 lb ) fillet of pork
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) corn flour
  • 1 egg-white
  • 2 slices root ganger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 ml (4 tablespoons) lard
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy sauce
  • 2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) sugar
  • 1/2 chicken stock cube (crushed)
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) dry sherry

Fung yung:

  • 2 egg-whites
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) minced chicken breast
  • 2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) salt
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) cold stock

Serve 6-8
