Chinese Recipes – Szechwan Ground-Rice Steamed Pork Pudding with Soy Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
- 900g/2lb belly of pork
- 2 chili peppers
- 2 medium onions
- 3 slices root ginger
- 30ml/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 15ml (1 tablespoon) brown sugar
- 15ml/1 tbsp red southern soy cheese
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) sherry
- 2.2-2.65 kg (5-6 lb) ground rice (coarsely ground, and made aromatic by roasting or frying in a dry pan until brown)
- 60-90 ml (4-6 tablespoons) green peas
Serve 6-8
