Ingredients

  • 350 g ( 3/4 lb) fillet of beef
  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) salt
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour
  • 75-90 ml (5-6 tablespoons) vegetable oil
  • 175 g (6 1/2 oz) celery
  • 175 g (6 1/2 oz) carrots
  • 4 slices root ginger

Sauce:

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy paste
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) soy sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) hoisin sauce
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) Sugar
  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) chili sauce
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) sherry pepper to taste

Serve 4-6
