Chinese Recipes – Dry-Fried Hot-Spiced Beef Shreds Recipe

Ingredients
- 350 g ( 3/4 lb) fillet of beef
- 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) salt
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) corn flour
- 75-90 ml (5-6 tablespoons) vegetable oil
- 175 g (6 1/2 oz) celery
- 175 g (6 1/2 oz) carrots
- 4 slices root ginger
Sauce:
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy paste
- 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) soy sauce
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) hoisin sauce
- 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) Sugar
- 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) chili sauce
- 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) sherry pepper to taste
Serve 4-6
