Ingredients

  • 900 g (2 lb) topside or rump of beef

Dressing:

  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) soy sauce
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) chili sauce
  • a Pinch freshly ground pepper
  • 22 ml (1, tablespoons) vinegar (Chinese aromatic, if available)
  • 7 ml (1 tablespoon) sugar
  • 12 ml (3/4 tablespoon) sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4-5 large crisp lettuce leaves

Serve 6-8
