Chocolate Lychees Recipe
Ingredients
500g/2 oz canned
lychees, drained
175g/6 oz plain
chocolate
15ml/1 tbsp vegetable
fat
Method:
Spread the
lychees between several layers of kitchen paper and
leave to stand for about 1 hour until dry.
Melt the
chocolate and fat in the top of a double boiler over
boiling water. Remove from the heat and leave to
cool slightly.
Dip each lychee
in chocolate to coat it completely. Carefully lift
the lychees out of the chocolate and place round
side up on greased baking parchment or greaseproof
paper.
Drizzle the
remaining chocolate over the lychees and refrigerate
until cold.
