Chinese Desserts, Cakes and Confectionery Recipes - Fruits with Almond Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet gelatin

  • 175ml/3/4 cup water

  • 100g/1/2 cup sugar

  • 175/3/4 cup boiling water

  • 300ml/1 1/4 ups evaporated milk

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp almond essence

  • 2 kiwi fruits, peeled and sliced

  • 4 strawberries


Method:

  1. Sprinkle the gelatin on to the cold water in a bowl and leave to stand for 1 minute.

  2. Ad the sugar and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Stir the gelatin mixture into the boiling water/

  3. Mix together the evaporated milk, vanilla and almond essences and pour into the gelatin mixture.

  4. Divide the mixture between 4 serving dishes and refrigerate for about 3 hours until set.

  5. Serve garnished with kiwi fruits and strawberries.
