Split Pea Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
Method:
-
Soak the split
peas overnight in the water. Bring to the boil in
the same water, cover and simmer for about 2 hours
until tender.

Rub through a
fine sieve then stir in the sugar and return to a
very low heat.

Mix the corn
flour with the water then stir into the pan. Pour
into a shallow rectangular cake tin and leave to
cool then chill until set.

Cut into cubes,
pile into a bowl and serve garnished with cherries.
