Sweet Pureed Water Chestnuts Recipe
Ingredients

450g/1lb water
chestnuts

225g/8oz sugar
-
600ml/2 1/2 cups water

2 glace cherries,
sliced
Method:

Puree the water
chestnuts in a food processor.

Dissolve the
sugar in the water over a low heat then stir in the
water chestnuts and simmer gently until heated
through and thickened. Serve at once.
