Chinese Nibbles and Drinks Recipes - Pineapple Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 75 g/3 oz/1/4 cup honey

  • 75 ml/1 1/4 pts/3 cups water

  • 450g/1lb canned pineapple in syrup, crushed


Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a pan, bring to the boil then simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve hot in small bowls.
