Recipes - Roasted Spiced Nuts Recipe
Ingredients
10 ml/2 tsp
salt
60 ml/4 tbsp
water
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp
five-spice powder
450 g/1lb/4
cups shelled peanuts
Method:
Dissolve the salt in the water over a gentle heat,
then stir in the five-spice powder. Mix in the
peanuts and stir together well.
Spread the peanuts
out in a roasting tin and roast in a preheated oven
at 140C/275F/gas mark 1 for about 1 hour until
golden, stirring occasionally and serve.
