Chinese Salads Recipes - Bean and Pepper Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g/8oz green beans

  • 2 red peppers, cut into strips

  • 10ml/2tsp sesame oil

  • 5ml/1 tsp minced ginger root

  • 5ml/1 tsp sugar

  • salt


Method:

  1. Blanch the beans and peppers in boiling water for 30 seconds then drain well.

  2. Mix together the sesame oil, ginger, sugar and a pinch of salt and pour over the vegetables.

  3. Toss together well before serving.
