Chinese Tofu Recipes - Tofu with Black Bean Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil
-
2 cloves garlic, crushed
-
4 spring onions (scallions), sliced
-
60 ml/4 tbsp black bean sauce
-
450 g/1 lb tofu, cubed
-
15 ml/1 tbsp chicken stock
-
15 ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
-
15 ml/1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry
Method:

Heat the oil and fry the garlic until light golden.
Add the spring onions and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add
the tofu and stir-fry carefully for 2 minutes until
golden.

Add the stock, soy sauce and wine or sherry,
bring to the boil and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
