Ingredients

45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

1 spring onion
(scallion), chopped

450 g/1lb asparagus
-
30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce
-
5 ml/1 tsp sugar
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup
chicken stock
-
5 ml/1 tsp corn flour
(cornstarch)
Method:
-
Heat the oil and fry the spring onion until lightly
browned.
-
Add the asparagus and stir-fry for 3
minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir-fry
for 4 minutes and serve.
