Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Bamboo Shoots with Sesame Oil Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100g/4oz bean sprouts

  • 45ml/3 tbsp peanut oil

  • 225g/8oz bamboo shoots

  • 5ml/1 tsp salt

  • 5ml/1 tsp sesame oil


Method:

  1. Cook the bean sprout in boiling water for about 10 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain well.

  2. meanwhile, heat the oil and stir-fry the bamboo shoots for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  3. Sprinkle wit salt mix well then arrange with the bean sprouts on a warmed serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve.
