Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Bean Sprouts Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 2.5 ml/1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 450 g/1lb bean sprouts

  • 3 spring onions (scallions), chopped

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp chicken stock

  • 5 ml/1 tsp sugar

  • 5 ml/1 tsp soy sauce


Method:

  1. Heat the oil, salt and garlic until the garlic turns light golden.

  2. Add the bean sprouts and spring onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir-fry for a few minutes until all the liquid has evaporated.
