Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Celery Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 6 stalks celery, diagonally sliced

  • 225 g/8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry

  • salt and freshly ground pepper


Method:

  1. Heat the oil and stir-fry the celery for 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Add the wine or sherry and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for a few minutes until heated through.
