Ingredients

oz bamboo shoots, cut into
strips

tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

tbsp brown sugar

tbsp soy sauce

tsp corn flour (cornstarch)

90 ml/6
tbsp water
Method:
-
Heat the oil and deep-fry the bamboo shoots until
golden. Drain well.

Heat the groundnut (peanut) oil and stir-fry the
bamboo shoots until coated with oil.
-
Mix together the sugar, soy sauce, corn flour and
water, stir into the pan and stir-fry until heated
through.
