Ginger Recipe
Ingredients

100 g/4 oz cauliflower
florets
-
45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

2 slices ginger root,
minced
-
1 spring onion
(scallion), chopped
-
100 g/4 oz bamboo
shoots, sliced
-
100 g/4 oz mushrooms,
sliced
-
100 g/4 oz Chinese
cabbage, shredded
-
30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup
chicken stock
-
salt and freshly ground pepper
Method:
-
Blanch the
cauliflower in boiling water for 3 minutes then
drain. heat the oil and stir-fry the ginger for 1
minute.

Add the
vegetables and stir-fry for 3 minutes until coated
with oil. Add the soy sauce and stock and season
with salt and pepper.

Stir-fry for a
further 2 minutes until the vegetables are just
tender but still crisp.
