Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Pepper and Bean Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 5 ml/1 tsp salt

  • 2 red peppers, cut into strips

  • 225 g/8 oz French beans

  • 5 ml/1 tsp sugar

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp water


Method:

  1. Heat the boil and stir-fry the garlic, salt, peppers and beans for 3 minutes.

  2. Add the sugar and water and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
