Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Spiced Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 g/1lb green beans

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp salt

  • 5 ml/1 tsp ground anise

  • 5 ml/1 tsp freshly ground red pepper


Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a large pan and just cover with water.

  2. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 8 minutes until the beans are just tender. Drain well before serving.
