Chinese Recipes - Spinach with Ginger Recipe
Ingredients
30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil
1 slice ginger root, minced
1 clove garlic, crushed
5 ml/1 tsp salt
450 g/1lb spinach
5 ml/1 tsp sugar
10 ml/2 tsp sesame oil
Method:
Heat the oil and stir-fry the ginger, garlic and salt until lightly browned.
Add the spinach and stir-fry for 3 minutes until wilted. Add the sugar and sesame oil and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
