Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Spinach with Ginger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 1 slice ginger root, minced

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 5 ml/1 tsp salt

  • 450 g/1lb spinach

  • 5 ml/1 tsp sugar

  • 10 ml/2 tsp sesame oil


Method:

  1. Heat the oil and stir-fry the ginger, garlic and salt until lightly browned.

  2. Add the spinach and stir-fry for 3 minutes until wilted. Add the sugar and sesame oil and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
