Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Stir-Fried Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 5 ml/1 tsp salt

  • 450 g/1 lb string beans, cut into pieces

  • 120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup chicken stock

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp soy sauce


Method:

  1. Heat the oil and salt then add the beans and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Add the stock and soy sauce, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes until the beans are tender but still slightly crisp.
