Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Stir-Fried Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 2 green peppers, cubed

  • 2 red peppers, cubed

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp chicken stock or water

  • 5 ml/1 tsp salt

  • 5 ml/1 tsp brown sugar


Method:

  1. Heat the oil until very hot, add the peppers and stir-fry until the skins wrinkle slightly.

  2. Add the stock or water, salt and sugar and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
