Chinese Vegetables Recipes - Vegetable with Honey Recipe
Ingredients

15 ml/1 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

1 slice ginger root,
chopped
-
2 cloves garlic,
chopped
-
100 g/4 oz baby
sweet corn
-
2 spring onions
(scallions), sliced
-
1 red pepper, diced
-
1 green pepper, diced
-
100 g/4 oz mushrooms,
halved
-
15 ml/1 tbsp honey
-
15 ml/1 tbsp fruit
vinegar
-
10 ml/2 tsp soy sauce
-
salt and freshly ground
pepper
Method:
-
Heat the oil and fry the ginger and garlic until
lightly browned. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for
1 minute.
-
Add the honey, fruit vinegar and soy sauce
and season with salt and pepper. Stir together well
and heat through before serving.
