Chinese Appetizers Recipes - Marinated Garlic Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz button mushrooms

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp sesame oil

  • pinch of salt


Method:

  1. Place the mushrooms and garlic in a colander, pour over boiling water and leave to stand for 3 minutes. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.

  2. Mix together the remaining ingredients, pour the marinade over the mushrooms and leave to marinate for 1 hour.
