Chinese Beef Recipes - Beef with Chinese Pickles Recipe
Ingredients

100 g/4 oz Chinese pickles,
shredded
-
450 g/1lb lean steak,
sliced against the grain
-
30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce
-
5 ml/1 tsp salt
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp freshly
ground pepper
-
60 ml/4 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil
-
15 ml/1 tbsp corn-flour
(cornstarch)
Method:
-
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and place in an
ovenproof bowl.
-
Stand the bowl on a rack in a
steamer, cover and steam over boiling water for 40
minutes until the beef is cooked.
