Chinese Beef Recipes - Beef Toasts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 slices lean beef

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 50 g/1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

  • 4 slices bread

  • oil for deep-frying


Method:

  1. Flatten the beef slices then brush them well with egg. Sprinkle with walnuts and top with a slice of bread.

  2. Heat the oil and fry the beef and bread slices for about 2 minutes. Remove from the oil and leave to cool. Reheat the oil and fry again until well browned.
