Chinese Beef Recipes - Steak Strips Recipe
Ingredients

450 g/1lb rump steak
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup soy
sauce
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup
chicken stock
-
1 cm/1/2 in slice ginger
root
-
2 cloves garlic, crushed
-
30 ml/2 tbsp rice wine or
dry sherry

15ml/1 tbsp brown sugar
-
15ml/1 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil
Method:
-
Firm the steak in the freezer then cut it into long
thin slices.

Mix together all the remaining
ingredients and marinate the steak in the mixture
for about 6 hours.

Weave the steak on to soaked
wooden skewers and grill for a few minutes until
cooked to your liking, brushing occasionally with
the marinade.
