Chinese Beef Recipes - Stir-Fried Beef with Spring Onions Recipe

Ingredients

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 225 g/8 oz lean beef, thinly sliced g spring onions (scallions), sliced

  • 75 ml/5 tbsp soy sauce

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp sesame oil


Method:

  1. Heat the oil and stir-fry the beef and onions until lightly browned.

  2. Add the soy sauce and wine or sherry and stir-fry until the meat is cooked to your liking. Stir in the sesame oil before serving.
