Chinese Chicken Recipes - Crispy Chicken Chunks Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100 g/4 oz plain (all-purpose) flour

  • pinch of salt

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp water

  • 1 egg

  • 350 g/12 oz cooked chicken, cubed

  • oil for deep-frying


Method:

  1. Mix together the flour, salt, water and egg to a fairly stiff batter, adding a little more water if necessary.

  2. Dip the chicken pieces into the batter until they are well covered.

  3. Heat the oil until very hot and deep-fry the chicken for a few minutes until crispy and golden brown.
