Recipes - Crispy Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
900 g/2 lb
chicken wings
60 ml/4 tbsp rice wine or
dry sherry
60 ml/4 tbsp soy sauce
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup corn-flour
(cornstarch)
groundnut (peanut) oil for
deep-frying
Method:
Place the chicken wings in a bowl. Mix together the
remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken
wings, stirring well so that they are coated in the
sauce.
Cover and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Heat
the oil and deep-fry the chicken a few at a time
until cooked through and dark brown.
Drain well on
kitchen paper and keep warm while you fry the
remaining chicken.
