Recipes - Five-Spice Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients

30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

450 g/1 lb chicken wings
-
250 ml/8 fl/1 cup
chicken stock
-
30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce
-
5 ml/1 tsp sugar
-
5 ml/1 tsp five-spice
powder
Method:

Heat the oil and garlic until the garlic is lightly
browned. Add the chicken and fry until lightly
browned.

Add the remaining ingredients, stirring
well, and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for
about 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked
through.

Remove the lid and continue to simmer,
stirring occasionally, until almost all the liquid
has evaporated. Serve hot or cold.
