Chinese Chicken Recipes - Steamed Duck with Celery Recipe

Ingredients

  • 350g/12 oz cooked duck, sliced

  • 1 head celery

  • 250ml/1 cup chicke3n stock

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp salt

  • 5ml/1 sp sesame oil

  • 1 tomato cut into wedges


Method:

  1. Arrange the duck on a steamer rack. Trim the celery into 7.5cm/3 in lengths and place in a pan.

  2. Pour in the stock, season with salt and place the steamer over the pan.

  3. Bring the stock to the boil then simmer gently for about 15 minutes until the celery is tender and the duck heated through.

  4. Arrange the duck and celery on a warmed serving plate, sprinkle the celery with sesame oil and serve garnished with tomato wedges.
