Ingredients

30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

450 g/1 lb lamb chops
-
250 ml/8 fl oz/1 cup
chicken stock
-
1 onion, cut into wedges
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup soy
sauce
-
5 ml/1 tsp salt
-
1 slice ginger root,
chopped
Method:
-
Heat the oil and fry the chops until browned on both
sides.
-
Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the
boil, cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours until
the lamb is tender and the sauce has reduced.
