Chinese Noodles and Pastry Recipes - Cold Noodles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450g/1 lb egg noodles

  • 5ml/1 tsp salt

  • 15ml/1 tbsp peanut oil

  • 225g/8oz bean sprouts

  • 225g/8zoz roast pork, shredded

  • 1 cucumber, cut into strips

  • 12 radishes, cut into strips


Method:

  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil, add the salt and toss in the noodles.

  2. Return to the boil and boil for about 10 minutes until tender but still firm.

  3. Drain well, rinse in cold water, then drain again. Toss with the oil then arrange in a serving dish.

  4. Arrange the other ingredients in small dishes surrounding the noodles.

  5. Guests serve a selection of ingredients into small bowl.
