Chinese Noodles and Pastry Recipes - Hot and Sour Noodles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g/8oz egg noodles

  • 15ml/1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 15ml/1 tbsp chili oil

  • 15ml/1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 2 spring onions, chopped

  • 5ml/1 tsp freshly ground pepper


Method:

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain well and transfer to a warmed serving dish.

  2. Mix together the remaining  ingredients, pour over the noodles and toss together well before serving.
