Chinese Noodles and Pastry Recipes - Tossed Noodles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10ml/2 tsp salt

  • 450g/1 lb egg noodles

  • 30ml/2 tbsp peanut oil

  • stir-fried dish


Method:

  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil, add the salt and toss in the noodles.

  2. Return to the boil and boil for about 10 minutes until tender but still firm.

  3. Drain well, rinse in cold water, drain, then rinse in hot water.

  4. Toss with the oil then toss gently with any stir-fried mixture and heat through gently to blend the flavors together.
