Chinese Pork and Ham Recipes - Pork with Cucumber Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz lean pork, cut into strips

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp plain (all-purpose) flour

  • salt and freshly ground pepper

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 225 g/8 oz cucumber, peeled and sliced

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp soy sauce


Method:

  1. Toss the pork in the flour and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil and stir-fry the pork for about 5 minutes until cooked.

  2. Add the cucumber and soy sauce and stir-fry for a further 4 minutes. Check and adjust the seasoning and serve with fried rice.
