Chestnuts Recipe
Ingredients
Method:
-
Place the ham in a pan with the spring onions,
garlic, sugar, wine or sherry, soy sauce and water.

Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 1 1/2
hours, turning the ham occasionally.

Blanch the
chestnuts in boiling water for 5 minutes then drain.
-
Add to the ham, cover and simmer for a further 1
hour, turning the ham once or twice.
