Chinese Rice Recipes - Chicken Liver Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g/1 cup long-grain rice

  • 375ml/1 1/2 cups chicken stock

  • salt

  • 2 cooked chicken livers, thinly sliced


Method:

  1. Place the rice and stock in a large pan and bring to the boil.

  2. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes  until the rice is almost tender.

  3. Remove the lid and continue to simmer until most of the stock has been absorbed.

  4. Season to taste with salt, stir in the chicken livers and heat through gently before serving.
