Chinese Rice Recipes - Fried Rice with Beef and Onions Recipe
Ingredients

450g/1 lb lean beef, thinly
sliced
-
45ml/3 tbsp soy sauce
-
15ml/1 tbsp rice wine or
dry sherry
-
salt and freshly ground
pepper
-
15ml/1 tbsp corn-flour
-
45ml/3 tbsp peanut oil
-
1 onion, chopped
-
225g/8oz cooked long-grain
rice
Method:
-
Marinate the beef
in the soy sauce, wine or sherry, salt, pepper and
corn-flour for 15 minutes.

Heat the oil and
fry the onion until lightly browned. Add the beef
and marinade and stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Add the rice and
stir-fry until heated through.
