Chinese Rice Recipes - Rice with Peas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g/1 cup long-grain rice

  • 350g/12oz peas

  • 30ml/2 tbsp soy sauce


Method:

  1. Place the rice and stock in a large pan and bring to the boil.

  2. Add the peas, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is almost tender.

  3. Remove the lid and continue to simmer until most of the liquid has been absorbed.

  4. Cover and leave to stand off the heat for 5  minutes then serve sprinkle with soy sauce.
