Chinese Rice Recipes - Singapore-Style Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g/1 cup long-grain rice

  • 5ml/1 tsp salt

  • 1.2 liters/5 cups water


Method:

  1. Wash the rice then place it in a saucepan with the salt and water.

  2. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until the rice is tender.

  3. Drain in a colander and rinse with hot water before serving.
