Chinese Recipes - Singapore-Style Rice Recipe
Ingredients
225g/1 cup long-grain rice
5ml/1 tsp salt
1.2 liters/5 cups water
Method:
Wash the rice then place it in a saucepan with the salt and water.
Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until the rice is tender.
Drain in a colander and rinse with hot water before serving.
